ICC STEM CAMP @ Audubon

NEW!   Probability and How it Effects Decision Making; Coding, and Robotics

ICC STEM Camp is offering a new math and robotics curriculum and introducing games from the Indian subcontinent.  Kids will dive into probability through game play.  For example, younger campers will tally the frequency of outcomes during games while older kids will be challenged to consider the probability of outcomes weighted against opponent strategies. Building off First’s programs that teach kids how to translate STEM concepts into practical applications, campers will learn coding and robotic principals through hands-on experience. Campers will also develop a connection to India by learning popular Indian games such as cricket, Carrom, Kho Kho, and Hopscotch.

Small group learning is central to ICC’s STEM Camp experience.  ICC interviews and recruits top-notch high school interns who support experienced classroom teachers.  If you have older children in grades 6 and 7, they will have the opportunity to mentor younger campers.

Transportation Association of Greenwich (TAG) provides monitored minibus service to and from Audubon for campers living in Greenwich, Rye, Port Chester and Stamford.  ICC also offers an after-camp class until 4:30 pm.
